Waleed Khalid Fatani is a senior executive and investment professional with over three decades of experience across banking, capital markets, and investment management in Saudi Arabia. He brings deep expertise in capital allocation, governance, and board-level oversight, developed through leadership roles in regulated financial institutions and listed companies.
He most recently served as Group Chief Executive Officer of Savola Group, a publicly listed company, where he was responsible for group strategy, capital allocation, and governance.
Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Fransi Capital, the investment arm of Banque Saudi Fransi, overseeing asset management, investment banking, and capital markets activities. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Abdul Latif Jameel and Deutsche Bank Saudi Arabia, and spent 17 years at Banque Saudi Fransi in progressively senior treasury positions, culminating in his role as Group Treasurer.
In addition to his executive career, Mr. Fatani has served on the boards and committees of several prominent listed and non-listed organizations, contributing to investment oversight, risk governance, and strategic direction.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University.
